This figure stands in an attacking posture, with its mouth open, its head tilted to the right, its long arms stretched fiercely forward, and its tail bent downward. The mouth cannot be closed. Like all Hasbro sculptures, it has a dinosaur damage wound, located on the right flank: it shows some ribs and muscle tissue. The upper part of the middle rib is actually a button and triggers a roar as if the creature is howling in pain. The front of the candle, next to its neck, is also a button that can be pressed down: in doing so, the Spino moves the arms up and down, as if performing a cutting movement. It also causes an attack roar to be heard. The sounds are the same as those produced by the Wave 1 Spino.
The underside of this animal is painted in a grayish-white color with some vague brown streaks mixed in. The upper part of the creature (upper jaw, neck, sail, back and upper tail) is covered for the most part with a dark reddish brown paint. , with a slightly shiny appearance in some parts (mainly the candle). The candle is adorned with a row of 19 bright blue stripes on each side. The dinosaur has black claws and a black JP III logo is located on the upper part of the right leg.
